The Last Peach on Willow Street

Jamie and Sofia each want the last peach on Mrs. Park's tree — until they discover what's waiting inside the pit.

About the story

There's one ripe peach left on Mrs. Park's tree, hanging over the fence on Willow Street. Jamie spots it. Sofia spots it at the exact same moment. Both are certain they saw it first.

Mrs. Park lets them decide what to do, and their ideas for dividing one peach get sillier and sillier. When they finally split it, there's the pit, and a question from Mrs. Park that changes everything. With her help, they plant it, and over the years the whole street joins in.

A funny, dialogue-driven story about sharing, cooperation, and growing something bigger together.
